Funny. This wasn't the Brooklyn Bridge.
Kento had tripped when he heard Mia, Yuli, and Uncle Qin call him over. What should have happened was some good natured teasing from the others and maybe a skinned knee.
Instead he was in a house.
And it was freakin' cold.
Kento sat up and looked around. It was cold, but his confusion outweighed his need for warmth. Was this a Dynasty trick? Did he hit his head or something? That would show the others. Yeah guys, make fun of Hardheaded Kento Rei Fuang when he has a concussion.
Although this felt a little too real to be something his head cooked up while he was in a coma or something. It was too real to be a dream. And this didn't seem like something the Dynasty would have. This was something else.
