Summary: Marta meets Christine. Again.
Warnings: MIO FAILING AT WRITING GIRLS. :| And also possibly a bit of insecurity, but nothing too much.
Marta stood in front of the full body mirror in the Princess Bedroom, posing and looking her reflection up and down as she searched for even the slightest flaw in the outfit she'd chosen for herself. She'd done this several times already, going through the trouble of arranging her hair in various ways and trying on various outfits, only to find some flaw with them and in the end discarding them in favor of something that she cuter or prettier or more color-coordinated. When she'd lived in Palmacosta it'd been a daily ritual, but ever since she'd started traveling she'd lacked the time and the freedom to pick out something nice. After all, traveling was pretty dangerous and while most things were either fashionable or functional, it was always one or the other. Still, right now she had two goals: To make herself feel good and to impress a boy. And at times like this, a girl had to look her best, right?~
She was actually pretty fond of this one, too. Her trademark flowers had been replaced with maroon beret with yellow trim and a cute, yellow ribbon attached to the side. She also wore a similarly colored scarf scarf with yellow trim and maroon mittens with yellow stitches. The red shirt and bright yellow skirt she wore were entirely covered by the long, ivory colored fleece coat that she wore, decorated with big red buttons and red card suit symbols and trim at the bottom. Completing the outfit was a pair of red stockings with white polka dots and a pair of maroon boots with a decorative strap and yellow button, as well as matching yellow heels.
She smiled broadly at her reflection, tugging on her hat a bit, deciding that she could be happy with this one. It'd taken her forever to decide what to wear and how to do her hair, but now she looked super cute~! ☆ So cute, in fact, that she bet that even Hidan wouldn't be able to find fault with her outfit.
Not that she really needed his approval, but well, after last night she found herself wanting it. After all, even if he was a shallow, stuck up, narcissistic jerk, he was still a boy, right? So if she could get him to admit to the fact that his outfit was super cute then it probably was, right? And in the event that that happened, maybe she could get a guy that she liked to look her way. Then they could fall in love and whenever they found a way out of this house, they could fall in love and get married and live happily ever after! It'd definitely be someone kind and cool, who would write her romantic letters, that would always listen to her and tell her that she was gorgeous. He definitely wouldn't reject her, either, or forget about her just because of some stupid ghost. No, her boyfriend would definitely look at her--and only her--like she was the only one he saw.
