Characters: Fran Madaraki, Open Setting: Entrance hall / Grand room Time: Day 14, anytime? Summary: Fran enters the house. Warnings: Medical talk... Fran should probably be a walking potential gore warning.
This place was really scary! Watanuki had been wrong, there were monsters out during the day!
First that not-monster-beastman person, then there were those people who had come out of the basement so strange-like, (even the man who was most human-like had a kind of intimidating metal arm) and there were even creepy things roaming around that she was totally sure were monsters! They were horrible and scary and their faces were just strange, leering like that with such wide eyes and huge teeth, loping around all over the house.
Those grinning-monsters had been the scariest of all when she had seen them, and she didn't like sitting still while she knew they were out there; it made her feel too restless and hemmed in, too jittery. Especially when not a single light in the house was working right now. They seemed to be ignoring her though, even when she had gone out to look around! .....Or maybe she was just good at sneaking; she had been sneaking around and hiding while she was out here, after all

Fran nearly hadn't realized she was being addressed until Eva had almost finished her sentence but, Fran managed to understand the gist through her distraction. Wearing an intruiged look, Fran turned to face the little girl, though not all at once, parts of her drunkenly lagged slightly behind the others.
"Oh, hello~" ,Fran said cheerily, tilting her head curiously, "I suppose that's comforting to hear. On the other hand, I think that's just what I'd expect my subconscious to say."
She regarded the young girl with clinical interest, if she was a hallucination, Fran wondered what she represented. It certainly wasn't her inner child, she'd replaced all the parts left over from her last month.
Eva was a bit disconcerted to see the almost staccato movements of the dim shadow in front of her--it almost looked like parts of her were almost moving differently from each other, even independently, like she wasn't all held together right.... That was a pretty weird thought. How silly! You couldn't even do that, anyway. How would you move afterwards if you were sort of in pieces, much less still be alive?
"I'm not your subconscious! Why would--" Eva stopped in mid-protest as she got close enough to see beyond Fran's outline, and gasped in shock, eyes widening. She had been right, that girl was all disconnected! She was stitched up like a patchwork doll! And those metal things were coming straight out of her head! That was.....
Eva couldn't help but feel a queasy sort of alarm as she thought about the other three she had met. "--d-doesn't that hurt?! Were y-you experimented on like the others?"
Fran's interest stirred at the outburst, she wouldn't really expect that out of her subconscious. She would've explained that it was only a theory that she might have been a hallucination, but Eva cut Fran off. Though, she did manage to prove to Fran that she probably was real, that's the sort of thing someone who wasn't accustomed to Fran would exclaim, after all. Oh well, Fran had almost been excited to meet her own subconscious.
"What these?" Fran gripped her bolts demonstratively "I need these. Though, I suppose they do hurt. I hadn't really noticed. I'm more of an experiment and an experimenter myself then someone who is experimented on, though, but by 'others', do you mean... you saw my friends?"
Eva had never heard of meeting your subconscious before--at least, not in anything other than things like dreams and stories. How could anyone meet themselves, after all? All she knew was that it was pretty strange, and that the girl looked like she should be in pain. And that was bad! Right?
But.... but then again, experimenting on people was bad too, right? Or was that same thing what she had meant? Eva was too overwhelmed and bewildered to be sure, and she shied away a little, self-conscious and confused. She wondered what this girl needed to have big bolts shoved through her head for, but decided not to ask; it seemed like it would be pretty rude to, especially before they had even introduced themselves.
"I-I don't know.... I don't know many people here yet. What do your friends look like? Why do you experiment on people?" The last, probably impolite question slipped out in spite of her reservations--she certainly didn't want to be captured and experimented on! No way! So Eva would just have to make sure that this girl didn't do
( ... )
"Here? Where would that be actually? I'm a bit lost" ,Fran laughed and scratched her head "but you'd probably recognize them if you saw them; Okita is a cat, ehh mostly. Adorea is a little taller then me and wrapped in bandages, very pretty black hair. And Howl would be wearing a tuxedo... oh and he has very dignified jowls."
Fran knew the look of questioning fear well, not that it bothered her. The construct was used to dealing with people in this condition. It didn't even seem to phase her.
"I'm a scientist, of course. A researcher. Fran Madaraki, but you can call me Fran. More specifically, I experiment for the betterment of mankind and to help realize the Professor's dream of making everyone happy~"
She'd started that statement rather serious and informative, but somewhere along the way Fran started blushing and holding her cheeks as she talked about the Professor.
