Yosuke smiled to himself. He was getting better! Finally, he'd been able to complete a thought without thinking of how much it sucked to be laying on the ground, starving to death. His victory was short lived however, as a renewed hunger pang made him close his eyes and cringe. If the boy looked bad before, he was terrible now. Yosuke himself didn't really know what he looked like - that would mean he'd have to lift his head, and that was just too much of a pain in the ass to do. So was moving, walking, or anything that didn't involve laying there feeling miserable and sorry for himself. Every attempt to take his mind off of things, to think of his friends or try and re-assure himself fell flat. His hunger was inescapable, except when he dwelt on the fact that he was going to die like that, alone and hungry on some god forsaken rock. After that, he welcomed the relief of the hunger pangs. Anything was better than the inevitable.
Please let Chie and the others be okay... hey, that's two I've fini-son of a bitch, I'd kill for a steak!
