Too Quiet Around Here
It's too quiet around here.
It's all mckennl's fault. If she was here, the Bat Weasel would be screaming, the Big Dogs would be bouncing off the walls, and The Accidental Parrot would be even louder.
The Bat Weasel has been uncharacteristically silent today and the Big Dogs have just been moping around. The only non-silent critter in the house is The Accidental Parrot.
Maybe I'll go play GTA. Or open the fridge and stare into it in the hopes that a cooked meal will appear.
*grumble*
And this getting-laid-off/job-search thing...it's for the birds I tell ya. I might have a lead on a possible job that could be interesting. I actually know at least 5 people who already work there and I bet that they wouldn't even blink if I showed up for an interview wearing shorts and a T-shirt. It's not as close as I'd like it to be, but it doesn't require traversing 495 or the bridge into Virginia so that'd be a Good Thing. There's also the benefit of a salary and medical insurance to consider.
