The Doctor closed in on his TARDIS. She was just standing there out in the open, it was too easy. He had read through the network, trying to narrow down a list of places where the Master might have taken the TARDIS -- (and after reading about the proposed mass gathering on the shores during the attack of those creatures, and then their ultimate transformation into some kind of local currency; the Doctor figured the Master might be multi-tasking.)
Impenetrable fortress and financial stability. Not bad.
As he approached near enough to make out, barely, and squinting, the words written across the police box, he unknowingly tightened his grip on Martha's key in his hand. He was really rather more nervous than he ought to be, and looking forward more than he should to Martha's arrival.
