When the Doctor, Martha, and Sam neared the saloon, the Doctor rushed ahead to be the first to fling the doors open, and... he got to fling the doors open, and that was about it, but he was first, and he was grateful to even be alive to do it. The saloon looked okay. There was colored glass on the floor, probably from bottles. Probably a result of the earthquake. The mirror behind the bar was cracked in a complex pattern, lending more to the earthquake destruction theory and not the zombie drunken brawl theory, he decided.
"All clear!" he called back, not ever before mentioning he was checking on anything, and he wasn't until he gave the all clear and it was official. "I'm going upstairs! Got to get out of these clothes!" he skipped steps up the stairs and disappeared.
