Where I'm from, Air Trek belong to a mid-size niche market. Basic pairs are expensive, and advanced or custom models cost more than most people can afford. Casual accidents are rare because the people who use them are normally dedicated enough to use them well. More problems come from people who can't pay for maintenance and repairs than they do from kids who run into walls.
He wouldn't be worried about accidents himself. He'd probably never think it could happen to him -- and it's the sort of thing he could get involved in. Where he'd worry is when that kid would try to follow him into it.
Though that's... interesting to hear. I don't really get this kind of thing.

That's not really a surprise.

Heh, well, I'm not your type, anyway.

You think?

Like I said, I don't get this. I'm guessing you normally just do this sort of thing with those that do.

I normally don't do this at all.

...Well, don't I feel special.

Those you are thinking of tend to find their own ways into the sky. I just helped them stay there.

What kinda thing do you do?

A bit of everything. Here, though, I'm a physiotherapist.

Really? Huh. Makes sense, if you're involved with ...sports like this.

It does. The injuries I see here tend to be equally specialized.
