*walking along, careful of the pointy sticks*
Lovely day for a stroll, don't you agree Tegan? I really should take this moment to apologize; those weren't just trees you saw after all. I didn't expect to see Arbrians again, they were wiped out long before the Humanian Era even began, and they weren't developed enough for spaceflight. I'd love to find out if this is some kind of lost colony of theirs.
Oh, we're almost to the spires. It looks like... *tugs at Five's sleeve* Amazing... look, their homes, nests built all the way up a great wooden spire. Almost as if they were natural outgrowths. We're getting closer now... *points* Peri, there's the gardens where they grow their food. Only fitting that plant-based humanoids be vegetarian, don't you think? Not advanced enough for greenhouses, yet so very far from home.
*walks along deep in thought* I wonder... the TARDIS wouldn't let me check our location, but I believe I might have a chronolometer in my pocket. Or should I say, my other pocket. *looks to make sure Arbrians aren't looking too closeley, reaches over and plunges hand deep into Five's coat pocket, rummages around, then pulls out a small metallic box* Aha! Haven't used this thing in ages. *blows dust off, fiddles with dials and switches* Good thing you were here, eh?
*brow furrows* This can't be right. Static on the display... The only time I've seen that pattern of interference... yes, yes, yes!
*shouts in excitement, startling the natives and everyone else for that matter*
Paratractis! *turns to native and grabs it by the shoulders* You're living in time trees!
