Round 4: Themes!
Guidelines!
o1 This goes without saying, but any sort of cheating or plagiarizing will not be tolerated.
o2. No prior work may be submitted - these icons must be made for this icontest round.
o3. Icons must be under 40 KB, be 100x100 pixels and in .png, .jpg or .gif format.
o4. Post a preview within the community, and link to your journal post with the full set of 20 - or use a cut.
o5. No private or "friends only" icon posts.
o6. Use this subject in your preview post: Round##: (character name).
o7. Tag entries with !round:##, character: (name).
o8. Sign-ups will remain open the whole round.
o9. If your character appears in the 2012 Christmas Special, The Snowmen, please try to avoid using spoilers in the preview and please make sure that your entry is marked as containing spoilers.
1o. Completed entries are due at the 26th of the month, midnight GST.
Themes!
5 Technical Themes:
o1: Two Colors
Your icon should have two distinct colors in it.
o2: Circle
Your icon should incorporate circles in some manner
o3: Obvious Texture
Incorporate a texture into your icon in a way that makes it obvious that there is a texture there.
o4: Close Crop
Crop your icon close to your character, getting up close and personal and filling up most of the icon.
o5: Profile
Your character should be in profile on your icon.
5 Inspirational Themes:
o1: End
o2: Missing
o3: Warm
o4: Mask
o5: This Song
5 Category: Quotes
Your icons should have quotes on them. The quotes do not have to have images to go with them so long as they are quotes from or about your character.
5 Artist's Choice:
