I agree, it was a really good year. And even the commentators in Swedish television said they thought it was the best year in a long time. Besides the German song and number (that girl might have been the most disgusting thing ever) there wasn't anything that was redicuosly bad either.
Who were your favourite then? I still think Marlena was better, but Fairytale was my fav next to her. The song is dangourasly catchy. It's been playing inside my head the whole day.
He's cuter than sugger, but all Norwegian guys seem to be extremely good looking, so no surprise. (I even named the icon Alexander "cute" Rybak.) He sings, plays violin, speaks four languages fluently... is he a fairytale???
Arash was definatley representing Sweden and Iran, as much as he was Azerbajan. So technically Scandinavia got all of the top three places. :P (It's like with 2005. What do you mean Greece won? The singer is from Gothenburg, lives in Sweden, spent all the summer after she'd won Eurovision touring Sweden. Sweden clearly won.)
When I was in Oslo three or four years ago, I told my mum's friend (who we were staying with) that I'd be coming back when Norway won the Eurovision... <.< something I remembered yesterday. You wanna come along? I know it's a bit further away from you, but it'll be campy Euro fun in RL? :P

I liked Bosnia, Estonia and Russia best. Your mileage may vary.
LOL, that sounds like fun, but I'd have to make sure that it won't interfere with uni and exams. But we'll see. It would be pretty cool. :D
