Hmmmmmm a friend told me the other day how she's now engaged.......engaged!! after only 7 weeks, engaged!! to a guy who in those 7 weeks she's only ever met 5?6?7? times! engaged to a guy whom apparently logged onto her face-pic account whilst she was away and sent abusive msg's to his ex, tho that was never proved, but still room for concern,

I would never get engaged to a guy that quickly. It's really weird because I've been with my current boyfriend just over 7 weeks and the thought of our relationship getting serious never mind getting engaged has not crossed my mind.

thats just freaky lol, me and nate(<=remember nate) started going out the same time as the couple in the post, although we didnt quite last the seven weeks and an old ex also now a good friend started to see some guy at the same time ....his name was nathan i think....they called him nate! for short lol

life is full of coincidence....anyway yeh, engaged after 7 weeks!?! thats just ...too soon and too serious for me

Shes only lonely and feels if she said no he would hate her. and she would be alone again, I know u hate him Lee but like give him 1/3 of a chance, u could be wrong he could just be a sad guy who wants the same as her! (maybe not likly) but its a thought! yeh i know she gets lonely, i know she just wants someone, i know all that cause i've been there for her the times she's broke down in tears, and the other times its just bee na ploy to get the guys to feel sorry for her. But lonely or not, to be engaged after only seeing the guy 7 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason shes doing this is because it was her first sexual partner. I was a sucker like her once. She'll realise one day - but she won't listen to you or anybody no matter how hard you tell her. love is blind as they say.

yeh i can see your point, she was bad before that tho, but talk of engagement and actually getting engaged was after. I had a go at her when she was thinking about the idea, but she was all 'its only a joke, i'd not get engaged'...a week later? they're engaged. oh well, i don't say nothing now, just if she's happy, i go along with it.

and yes, Love is most definitely blind heh
