The countdown is continued, 14 days or so until Umass.... I got a webcam everyone!
14 days and counting.... till Umass.
Most people have left or are leaving tomorrow. There is only a few of us left here. It's going to be sad to actually say goodbye this time. I feel like I bonded and hung out with people a lot more during this break. Everyone just hung out together and had a good time. I think this break was soooo much better than I thought.
I was venting like a crazy person to Jason at school, telling him how much I love Gorman and Umass -- how I don't want to go home. Things like that. As usual he told me everything was going to be fine and to make sure I made the best of the situation.
So, here I am home. I must say it is def. not as bad as I made it sound. Yes, I was wrong, lol. I know thats not often -- haha. I think I have mentioned this like 20 times in a bunch of different entries but w/e it's my journal so I could talk about w/e I want.
I write for my school newspaper, the largest distributed in New England. I have a weekly column called, The Source. However, recently I have been offered some other opportunities. I am currently writing a piece about David Copperfield coming to Umass. It's a prestory. I am doing a phone interview with him this week. I also get to go to the show for free and write a review which should be awesome. I am really excited.
I am also doing a feature on James Frey and his book. There has been some issues in the press lately that they think he made it all up. I am going to try to get all the info. I am trying to get an interview with him.
I got a webcam. I was having issues with getting it to work, but now it's up and running. I am excited. I think it's going to be awesome to have. I have a bunch of friends that have them so I will be able to see them all when they are at college. It's just another cool way to keep in contact with everyone.
I think my mom is going to get one so she could see me at school too. I think it's cool to be able to see people and talk to them through the computer. I am just glad a bunch of my friends have them so I could talk to a group of people. I am just glad I finally bought one.
I am getting a new computer tomorrow. I need one. This one has reached it's time. I think it's about done. It's soooo slow and everything. It's ready to go. I can't wait to get a new one. I want one that has a DVD burner and a CD burner. Believe it or not this computer that I have now doesn't have one. It will be nice when I download things to be able to burn them.
Alright well I am gonna go. I am actually getting tired, lol.
