Red TEAM... alright it's time to update my journal... it has been a while!
Hey everyone!!
Alright so things have really slowed down these past few weeks. I think every single journal entry I write has that in it, how boring things have become here. I am so excited I can't wait to head back to Umass. I am so excited to be going back.
Like two nights ago I got a call from my friend, Jess, from Umass. Ahh it was so much fun talking to her and catching up. We only got to talk for a little bit, but it was a lot of fun. I am glad I spoke to her. I think I am gonna call her again and just keep in contact because we are leaving in like 2 weeks.
Alright... next thing...
Work has been tons of fun. These past two weeks have been colorwars. I am one of the captains on the red team. We have been losing every single day. We were losing today by like 200 points. We had a field day event where all the teams go to different stations and do some activites to win points for their teams. By the end of the day Red team was in the lead. Then we performed our cheers one more time and the red team won. Then it comes down to the tug of war, it basically makes or breaks the teams. So, we went and won against the white team, then we versed blue. We lost to them. We went against white again and beat them again. We went against blue and BEAT THEM. So, in the end we won the tug of war. The specialist wanted to be a part of it too so we did a tug of war against them and won. We basically dominated. It was awesome. 80 kids were screaming up and down because the underdogs came through and won. It was awesome.
Anyway, I am glad its the weekend and time to relax. Things have been so crazy lately so I am glad to be home. This weekend I have some things to go to, so that should be awesome. Next weekend I am going to be cleaning up and figuring out what I am taking back to school. I am so used to being home so it should be interesting getting used to the dorm life again. However, I am excited to be going back.
