the internet as a tool of procrastination

It's about "hook-up culture."
I have a lot of work to do but I think i'm going to go to the gym b/c i feel skanky and want to take a shower. Weird logic I know.
The semester is nearing it's end. This means both good and bad things.
++++++ London in a bit over a month.
- no more Emily M. and Sarah G. to color my academic world, amongst a host of other seniors I will miss.
but you know what? I'm really not as upset as I have been ever before. Really, I'm not upset at all. These are friendships i'm secure with. And soon we'll all be strong single independent women, looking for roomates in the real world, and maybe they'll saunter back into my life. I feel I'm finally getting used to the idea of this college impermenance. I always make new friends that bring so much into my life. And I have always been able to hold onto the important old ones in some respect. Also, cheryl is thinking of moving to rochester this summer which would be amazing.
