Crossfire
So I watched Crossfire yesterday (and I'm just getting around to writing my thoughts out now).
1) I really liked Airachnid taunting Breakdown about losing his eye. I'm a sucker for terrible puns.
2) Breakdown's death was . . . surprising, I guess? I mean, I got spoiled for the episode before I saw it, so the actual death scene didn't have much effect on me besides "oh wow that looks like it was a painful way to die". I was pretty surprised when I first saw the spoiler, though! I liked Breakdown, and he'd shown up enough that I wasn't really expecting him to die. One thing i do hope will be addressed is how Knock Out reacts to him dying. I mean, they were partners and all!
3) Whenever Starscream calls the Autobots with info and wants medical care in return, I always want them to just find out what he knows and then just leave.
4) Megatron + Insecticon = Great Fight Scene. (I'm really liking Megatron now that he's not, y'know, comatose. He's such a great version of the character.)
5) I liked that Optimus was going to kill Megatron if Dreadwing hadn't shown up. Practicality is good! (Incidently - Arcee? Please stop just rushing into battle.)
6) Dreadwing is great and awesome and also great. Defying Megatron's orders and saving his life in the process? Very nice. Megatron's compliment to him at the end was excellent. (Dreadwing and Soundwave should totally get together and form an "Actually Legitimently Loyal Decepticons" club. They'd be pretty lonely being the only two in it, though. :-/ )
