Resurrection!

Well, after 4 nudges from Fourthwand reminding me that I should post here, here I am.

I am currently stuffed silly on Fogo de Chao. Eve took me there last night and I honestly believe that I will be skipping lunch today... Ohhh dear...

For those of you not in the know, Fogo de Chao opened in Minneapolis about a month or two back and is a Brazilian steak house(there is a Brazilian word for it that I cannot remember nor pronounce). More or less you sit down with a small paddle which has both a GREEN and RED side. When you put the GREEN side up on your table, people bring you meat. The waiters hustle around the room with giant metal skewers with one of 15 different cuts of beef, pork, lamb, or chicken on them, all of which are prepared differently and all of which are utterly fantastic. They also have one of the best salad bars in the Twin Cities and boast the Caipirihna as a cocktail of choice(P.S. I'm sure I spelled that one incorrectly as well).

I am starting to delve into Warhammer Fantasy Battles, having sold off what I will not use of my old Dark Elf army and using the remnants to make a Cult of Slaanesh list. Lately I am just painting up lots of Chaos Warriors and Marauders of Slaanesh. Perhaps someday Eve and I will purchase that Digital SLR camera that we always talk about buying so that I can put some photos up. I suppose it is my mounting desire to play Warhammer Online that has me switching from sci-fi to fantasy for my tabletop strategy game of choice...

I will also have begun reading a certain pre-release book by a certain author who is an old friend of mine. The book itself will not be out until July apparently but I have managed to wrangle a copy for myself. The only hint: an old WoW gaming friend of mine who happens to also like this series recently had one of the streets in his companies new corporate headquarters named "Lamora Lane". *BIG WINK HERE* Perhaps I'll post some thoughts about it once I've finished reading it(Eve blew through it in something crazy like 4 days, so it MUST be excellent).

Planning my roadtrip down to Games Day Chicago on July 27th/28th, mostly because I think Mythic will be handing out beta invitations to folks who visit their booth on the 28th(they've announced such activities for the Baltimore Games Day, and they apparently have begun inviting people who visited Atlanta two months ago).

We spent about 10 days in Mexico for Luke and Catherine's wedding. Was a fantastic trip! :D
