I can't believe I watched
Half Past Dead. Starring Steven Seagal, Morris (I have huge chompers) Chestnut, Nia Peeples and Ja Rule (as long as he doesn't try to sing I guess he doesn't bother me too much). It grossed around $8 million on opening weekend, then $8 million more over the next month, then disappeared. The budget was $30 million. How does something like this get "Project Greenlight"ed? IT SUCKed so bad I continually asked myself why I was watching the whole damn thing and then continued to watch. Ahhh, but the payoff was at the end. Roll credits, thank god it's over, roll humor...Kurupt being visited by his woman w/ the glass between them. Ensue Hilarity. Made the whole movie worth it. Gotta love Mo'Nique Imes-Jackson. Watch or buy this movie, watch the whole thing, then watch that end scene. It will make it worth the rental or purchase. Quote me on this.
