Why did you make that your lj username?: LOL. When attempting to come up with a name, it was suggested by a friend of mine. At the time, I seemed to be trudging through one drama or another. Relationships, friendships, work. It just seemed...fitting.

Joke: Ooh...I don't really know that many GOOD jokes. And I certainly don't have a favorite. I tend to love those random weird things people say. Sarcasm always makes me smile.

"Cages or wings, which do you prefer?" -tick, tick...BOOM!
"I am an arms dealer, fitting you with weapons in the form of words." - Fall Out Boy

Communities:

What You Bring To The Table?
What kind of person are you? Describe yourself with four “I am” or “I am not” statements:
1) I am opinionated, but know how to conduct myself appropriately.
2) I am sarcastic, but never, ever intentionally hurt anyone's feelings.
3) I am the type of person that thrives on a good debate.
4) I am always eager to learn a new way of looking at something.
What are your major hobbies and interests?: Creative writing, theatre, music (singing or listening), reading.
What do you consider your biggest accomplishment so far?: Stage Managing/Light Designing my first play. It was a topic that hit extremely close to home, and while it was probably one of the most difficult things I have ever done because of the material, I refused to give up.
How much time do you spend on the internet daily?: Let's not go there. I have entirely too much time on my hands these days. I barely get hours at work, and my boy's out of the country until mid-May.
Are you very talkative? In a good way?: Yes. Very. Whether or not its in a "good way" remains in the eyes of the poor soul on the receiving end.
Do a lot of people have romantic crushes on you?: Recently, it would seem so. I've asked about it. It seems I have recently had a surge in self-confidence and people have noticed.
Do people ever tell you you’re too serious or not serious enough? Why?: No, on either account. I do tend to get very passionate about things, but no one has ever said I was too serious or not serious enough. I guess I keep a good balance? Which I'm happy with.
Have you ever been involved with rating communities? What do you think of them?: Yes I have. Most of them are incredibly shallow. Even the ones that say they rate more on responses to questions than the photos. Its sad, really. All of these gorgeously intelligent people roaming the planet, and we seem to be more concerned about how someone looks.
How much education do you have?: I'm a high school graduate. I would absolutely LOVE to go to college, as I miss learning so much. I'm trying to organize my life so that its possible to go.
Do you think degrees and book learning are important?: Eh. I think it is entirely possible to be successful without a degree. I'm not saying education should be passed up by any means. But college isn't for everyone. It doesn't mean you can't be successful at something you love. I do, however, think it is important to always keep learning, no matter what capacity you choose to do that in.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done in your life?: Wow...the craziest thing is not necessarily the thing I am proud of. I spent a great deal of my youth (ages 10-16) trying to self-medicate. To...escape from the shit in my brain. It didn't work. It just added to the mess I have to deal with now.
State a strong opinion or view that you have and can defend: Normally when I'm asked this question, people assume I'll jump right into the Gay Marriage debate. But a big one for me is Censorship. As a writer, I know how horrible and devestating it can be for someone to say, "No. We don't agree, therefore, we will not allow you to do this." I've gotten that a lot. But I figure, as long as you're not inciting violence, etc, what's the point? Sure, maybe there should be guidelines. Not all material should be available to the big wide world. Its a topic I'm still trying to figure out...How to word it so that it makes sense. In my head, it does, but that rarely comes across on paper...

Let’s Get Personal
Would you rather be 20 or 30 forever if you could choose?: 30. I have learned so much more since I was 20. That was an awful age for me. I'm hoping 30 will be infinitely better.
How do you define your racial and identity?: I don't. People are going to assume anyway, and I'm not here to box myself for them. But I am: Irish, Scottish, Hispanic, German, and a tiny bit of Indian from my Grandfather.
How do you define your sexuality and gender? How did you arrive at this identity, and do you feel comfortable?: I'm gay. But here's where it gets confusing for people. I am totally comfortable with expressing that a man may be attractive, or even sexy. I'm not blind. I can see that much. My partner is a pre-op FTM. And he is amazing. I was born female. Have no desire to be any other way. I love being a woman. My primary attraction has always been women, and my boyfriend is worried about that. But that's its own topic, isn't it?
If you could have one super power what would it be?: Oooh...maybe...Invisibility...or the ability to fly..
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?: Well, that depends on the woodchuck, doesn't it?
Do you have a label like “goth” or “emo” or “preppy” for your sense of style? What is it?: No, I don't label it. I am just...fashionable, as my friends put it. I dress according to however I'm feeling that day. I work at Torrid, for crying out loud. Have to at least stay current.
Are you a vegetarian or vegan? Why or why not? Nope. I did try. A couple times. It just isn't a lifestyle that's for me.
What are your philosophic or religious beliefs (in general) ?: I was raised Pentecostal. I converted to Paganism. But I find I'm much more spiritual than religious. I believe there's something out there. There has to be. I don't know how else I would've made it to 27 if someone wasn't looking out for me.
Make us laugh: No pressure, huh? I don't know if anyone out there will find this particularly funny...First, I have this odd fascination with vampires. When I was really super young, I was convinced all I had to do to become one was go to school for it, like people become doctors or lawyers. Eventually, my world came crashing down when I realized it wasn't that simple LOL. Second, my big goal in life is to become a Thriller Zombie. Yep.

The Crowd Wants To Know
What do you want to get out of The Dinner Crowd?: I'm hoping to meet some awesome people, learn something new, any exercise my brain a bit.
Do you think highly of yourself? Explain why or why not?: There are things I love about myself...and then there are things that I absolutely loathe. The joys of being Bipolar, I guess. I have a lot of issues with my self-esteem, though I've overcome some of that. There are times when I just do not feel good enough. For him, for my family. I don't know where all of this stems from. That's a lie, I know exactly where some of it comes from.
How did you find us?: I saw the banner in birls...I think that was the community.
