Sorry I haven’t made a post in a while. I’ve been a little busy lately. Some of the pictures aren’t as sood as they usually are. Mmmm. Outback. I love that place. I like to grill my own steak at home. I go to the meat market and have them cut what I want. It's usually a Porterhouse or NY Strip. I'm going to make prime rib over the weekend I think.

I love meat and I could never give it up all together. But, I do eat a lot of vegitarian dishes.

I love that Outback uses a flat grill....it just sears in all those lovely juices, and you never get a dried out steak.

Oh how I wish I had swiped more recipes when I worked there, everything is made from scratch every day.

According to their new commercial even the croutons are made fresh each morning. Makes sense to get rid of the day old bread.

The key to having a juicy steak is not over cooking it and cooking it slow. Also don’t flip it a million times. I worked in a very fancy steakhouse at one time. The chef there taught me a lot about beef and how to cook it.

Wow, that is a TRUE RARITY in a chain restaurant. Guess that explains why they only serve dinner.
