So much for writing regularly...
I have been buying books and going to festivals on gender and sexuality and other such clever and sophisticated thingums.
A couple of things though.
1. Watch Nina's Heavenly Delights if you haven't already. It's just so nice when a movie takes a subject like a cross cultural lesbian romance and doesn't make a big deal out of it, turn it into a big Serious Issue-based drama.
2. I have started a new community thingy because I was talking to
22by7and we decided I need to write more. And my old writing blog on GJ has been talken over by people asking me if I feel my penis is too small and would I like to see them and their friends doing exciting things for me on a number of dubious websites. So I have started
vulcanism as a sort of writing workshop/forge thingy for wips. Things will be friendslocked, but I will add you back if you add me. I am very amused by the name. I think I will use random poetry as prompts.
Gymming has ceased to make every part of my body ache, though it still exhausts me. I feel that this is an improvement.
