Admittedly haven't been paying much attention to LJ lately. Honestly, I've even been neglecting FB a little. So we've 'survived' our first summer in Phoenix, AZ and I gotta tell you... it was not that bad at all. Never really set the A/C below 78°. We really love it out here. I think we both agree that this is home now. While we certainly miss friends and family back home - we do not miss the sticky heat of Georgia. Life is pretty good out here in the desert. Hell... even saying that seems weird. Desert. I never imagined I'd be living, let alone happy, in a desert. But here I am! Life is funny like that some times.
