[Nicholas is just rummaging around through the shops-because when you're around free things, best take advantage of that-and spots his good ol' pal Amelia between visits. With a bag full of things and a back without a dumb cross for once.

He watches her for a moment before walking casually over.]

[Amelia's focused on getting to the bakery, so much so that she doesn't actually realize Nicholas is there until he speaks. She jumps, startled, then whips around to face him.]

[Still, she's happy to see the other kid.]

Amelia heads toward the coats, and quickly finds one she likes. It's even purple, and it feels really warm. But as she pulls it off the hanger, Amelia frowns.]
