for the good fashion comment rodney put down. we really dont care. dont listen to him about you haveing to be fashionable to play music. no offense rodney....i love ya to death and all but coming from someone who wears makeup fashion wont be an issue. after all we dont want ppl trying to pretend they are what they arent. we just want who you are and what you can contribute to the band. have a nice day and keep in mind that comfort hasnt failed to follow so far.

Its no secret that im not the biggest fan of our name and i dont believe the rest of the band is either. Theres often talk of changing it but it never gets very far mostly due to the impracticality of the matter, in truth its even grown on me a bit. But just for some fun id like to pitch an idea (you can take it serious if youd like but i wouldnt.)What if we turned into a Disney themed band,(new name, new gimmic) reaching a new and pre-pubescent crowd, gigs at disney land and if we work really hard even disney world. We could call ourselves "Beauty And The BeasTones" Rodney would be Beauty ofcourse.

That would lead to more underage girls groping Rodney on stage which could someday lead to his arrest. I think its a bad idea. Stick with what you've got. How about you guys come up with a name for my band since no one can agree on anything.

In all seriousness I think we need some good suggestions for a replacement to the derelicts. Especially since that name, although suggested by me, was taken due to the stubbornness of our old drummer who has since been fired. I know I have been saying this for ages, but I think at this point anything but the derelix would be better. The pretentious misspelling annoys me to no end. With that we join the ranks of motley cru, korn, linkin park, and limp bizket. All very very shitty bands. So why the derelix? Because Ed liked it. That stubborn bugger.

Yes, but unfortunately for the American education system. 98% of the population don't know its been mispelled. Here's what I have to say about changing your name. Don't do it. You have a following now. Real fans.They know you by the name "The Derelix". It is unfortunate that you no longer like the name or never liked it from the beginning but changing it now will only annoy your fans or people who were just beginning to see you in the world of music will know longer recognize you on a bill or whatever because you have changed your name and may not take interest. In my own experience, changing the name can suck. Against my advice the drama organization on FMCC campus changed their name from The Foggy Mountain Players which had become well known even from their anachronym "FMP" to The Fulmont Theatre Association. People who had known the club for years had no idea who we were anymore and it ruined alot of things. Even after changing it back it hasn't been the same. So now you have my opinion. But don't let me stop you if you truly are
