Kenny, you put it so well. We wait staff do work our asses off to please customers and in these times, a 10% tip is extremely generous. People think they're so brilliant when they order and make things so much more difficult. I'm glad I'm not a cook, not that I enjoy the slobs that dine in my place of employment and the scum of the earth that leave 2 dollar tips for a $70 meal. I'm sure either of us could rant for hours about the decline of humankind or the evils of consumerism or political correctness. Call me a scrooge, but I'm realizing why I dislike Christmas now. No, it's not because I'd rather receive presents than have to give them, I rather enjoy buying and giving gifts. The essence of the problems is the grand expectations that go along with the holiday. Someone always seems to be let down rather than thankful for how much more they received than one of the poor. I'm sick of Americans, American tradition, and neo-American values, it's all a huge load of liberalist agenda trying to enslave the people and push us towards socialism...I'm rather pissed off tonight in case you couldn't tell, Kenny just fired me up.
