Why I plan to vote for either of the 2 Ateneans instead of the Lasallian this coming election.
Gibo is intelligent. But intelligence alone is never sufficient to lead this country. Marcos was intelligent. And so was GMA. But if they are bereft of moral considerations, then they don’t deserve to lead this country.
Gibo has questionable loyalties. Sobrang sinungaling ang magdeny nyan dahil sya nga mismo proud of his loyalty to GMA. and that alone makes me wonder about the other things he is willing to tolerate.

He is good. He is even a Lasallian. But this Lasallian has questionable loyalties and disgusting voting record when he was still a member of the House (blocked the impeachment of Erap while on the other hand, voted for the impeachment of Davide. Weirdo.)
When he was defense secretary, he tolerated the existence of private armies that led to the recent Maguindanao Massacre. This was because the Ampatuans were allies of GMA. So he is willing to tolerate GMA and the Ampatuans because of his ambitions and other political considerations. His performance as head of the NDCC was also terrible. There were a lot of undistributed government relief goods that were just rotting in government warehouses. Even donations to the Red Cross and DSWD coursed through the government were not distributed properly.
Magaling si Gibo. Magaling syang magsalita. Pero ayaw ko nang maulit ang Hello Garci, ZTE Scandal, Fertilizer Scam, Jose Pidal Accounts, Distribution of Brown Envelopes in Malacañang to LGU officials, North and South Rail, Extra Judicial Killings, Mikee Arroyo questionable wealth, pure lies in front of the tomb of our national hero, and the list goes on. I’ve had enough of cabinet members like Merceditas Gutierrez and Raul Gonzales.
