Botan frowns into the lipgloss that her best friend, and now Maid of Honour, is applying on her. "I knew I shouldn't have eaten breakfast this morning."
The other girl scoffs. "Botan-chan, don't worry. Everyone gets nervous on their special day." She adjusts the yellow bridesmaid gown Botan had picked out for her, Shizuru, Yukina, and her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Temari. The theme of the wedding itself seems to be yellow; the gowns, the cake, and the flowers. The flowers have been especially brought in by Kurama and require constant care. The bride herself wore white, of course, but her sash was a creamy yellow. Keiko thanks the gods she didn't choose pink as the theme.
The bride bites her lip, causing a fuss from her makeup artist. She can't help it. All her friends, all of Suna, and a gang of vistors from Konoha are all here to watch her get married. Pressure? You bet.
As it stands, Yuusuke, Kuwabara, Yukina, and Temari all are busy with getting guests rounded up, making sure everything is in perfect place. Botan wishes she was out there; Keiko insists it's bad luck for the bride to be seen before the wedding. Botan wonders what Gaara's doing right now. Probably greeting guests, she figures. She knows he's just as excited and nervous as she is, if not more. He seemed it at dinner last night. She smiles. Soon. Soon it would be here, their moment.
She is so lost in thought about Gaara that she doesn't complain when Keiko begins to weave flowers into her now-short hair.
Temari glances around for her brother while helping Yukina direct traffic to the pavelian that has been set up. 'He must be talking to Naruto or Lee,' she thinks.
