Grateful For
3/31/20
No one I know has COVID-19. (Even though my family lives in a hot spot).
My mother, her boyfriend, and my younger brother for letting me stay with them, with all the annoyances of sharing living space.
Their adorable cat, who's sitting on my lap right now while I pet her on and off.
The internet has been keeping me more informed and more frequently interacting than before the quarantine.
Amazon Prime and Amazon Fresh delivery.
Walmart pickup, and Mom's boyfriend for going out to retrieve it.
Dungeons and Dragons, Archive of Our Own, Livejournal, Twitter, and Tumblr, for keeping me distracted and mentally active while otherwise feeling unable to think or do anything.
Microwaveable food.
An air mattress to sleep on. That let-out couch underneath had springs poking out all over the place and it hurt. Now I look like the Princess and the Pea, but I can sleep.
A chair I can sleep on in the living room when my brother kicks me out of the study to work.
Coffee and chocolate.
I am safe. I am loved. I am OK.
