I dreamed about this woman who was going on and on about these amazingly fun memories from her childhood. Suddenly she paused, looked thoughtful, and said to me, "My childhood wasn't actually that happy. I remember all these happy things because they were so rare that they stuck out." My subconscious is pretty profound.
