FINE, I WILL WRITE A STAR TREK REACTION POST.
So, it was fun and just took itself seriously enough, but what I learned from this experience was that I am a Spock Prime/Kirk Prime shipper because when Spock Prime said, "I have always been and always will be your friend," I think I fell in love a little and maybe cried. Maybe. I've seen Wrath of Khan, dammit. I KNOW HOW MUCH THEY LOVED LOVE EACH OTHER.
I don't really ship the new versions yet, because they totally aren't there yet, though okay, I am very happy with going to the Kirk/Spock/Uhura place. (And maybe I do kind of like Spock Prime/Kirk, a little. Just a little.)
Anyway, thanks, fandom! You've done a wonderful job of anticipating my eventual shippiness for these two by writing reams and reams of Kirk Prime/Spock Prime slash that's pretty much all about how they love each other forever and ever and how they'd do anything for each other OMG.
