-I enjoyed it, very much, but I had quite a few issues with it. There is just so much that I liked, but so much that really irked me, too ( Read more... )

Padme bugged the crap out of me. She was so pathetic and whiny. When she said "come away with me" I almost shot myself...how did norah jones get into this.

The darth vader "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO" almost wrecked the movie right there.

Yoda kicked some serious ass.

Yeah Anakin's fall was pretty rushed and unbelievable, but the scene where Obi-wan is talking to him as he's, y'know, legless and on fire, almost made me want to cry.

Good stuff though. :)

Is it just me, or was there WAY too much CG? evilmogget May 22 2005, 17:30:46 UTC
Lucas tried too hard to be funny in this movie. I wanted to hit the people that laughed when R2 beat down the droids in Greivous's hangar. Am I hallucinating, or did R2 suddenly have jets he didn't have in the original trilogy? And a buttload of gadgets in the top of his head?

Padme's lines were physically painful. "Nothing but our love." OMGWTF? And since when can pregnant women withstand interstellar travel? I've certainly never seen one run like she did.

I wanted more Tarrful and Chewbacca. I feel happy now that I understand the metal sash he wears. And Yoda on his shoulders? Too cool...

Still I say, there was too much CG. I know it's cheaper than sets, but please. I think GL can afford more realism.

Yeah, I totally agree about R2, but since he was sporting the jets in the last episode, I didn't feel the need to comment. I could probably buy that he had a flamethrower and the lightsabers, because that's pretty much been shown in ROTJ.

Totally agree about Padme and the wookies.

I didn't mind the CG as much this time around for some reason. It's much better, and I've gotten so used to seeing it, I think my mind registers it as real.
