Dragon Lady
I found an old poem. I think I wrote it about a year ago. Thought I would share it with you.
Shadow
It is something I can feel
Something I can taste
It permeates all of my existence
I can feel it in my heart
And I can feel it saturate my soul
It cannot be destroyed
For it is as much a part of me
As I am a part of it
A beautiful deadly symbiosis
Like a parasite
That needs to exist within me
A dark hopeless sadness
A perpetual misery
I have fought and bled
For far too long
I see no end or beginning
I see only emptiness
A thirst for contentment that cannot be quenched
A starvation of life and happiness,
Is all I have left.
I walk around in circles
Going nowhere, doing nothing
I walk through life an empty shell
I am nothing
I am a shadow
I had a decent weekend for those of you who want to know. I got all of the things moved out. It went pretty smooth, so I guess I cannot complain. I got to enjoy a little time with Steph as well, which was nice considering this weekend we weren't going to see each other initially. Got to see a movie or 3 that I hadn't seen. Need to re-watch "Elf". I have a whole house to reorganize, and luckily Rip should be dropping by tomorrow to install my other HD. Well I have too much shit to do to sit here so I am out.
