LOL well seeing as how the Porn Battle ends today, this was the last I was able to do for this Porn Battle. There'll be another Kink Meme in a few months, we'll see what prompts get posted for that;) In the meantime, I certainly won't be sitting idle. I've got a bunch of things I'm about to start working on :)

Ah, sorry, I thought the battle went into the weekend. I know I will heartily enjoy the 'bunch of things' you're about to start working on, though, so I look forward to them with bated breath.

As an aside, in reference to your fic of yesterday, Skin Deep - I'm surprised how much I've enjoyed the other pairings you've offered this battle, C/D and R/C; I guess it helps that Kahlan is in the mix in these as well, but you've done a great job making those alternate pairings resonate as well. Your suggestion to place Skin Deep in the Used/Fumbling Toward Ecstasy 'verse was spot-on, and really helped me appreciate it all the more. Thanks!

Thanks! I really enjoy playing with other pairings, but Cara/Kahlan are always like the ultimate truth for me, so I sometimes get nervous about how I might handle those other pairings. It's good to know I can pull them off enjoyably:)

Oh, wow, I think that's the hottest one of all the stories you wrote for the Porn Battle!

By midday, Cara was ready to snatch the Sword of Truth out of Kahlan's hands and impale herself on it, just to break the awkward monotony of sitting around watching the confessor leak feelings all over the place.

LOL, I love the wording of this! I really did laugh out loud when I read it.

I absolutely love Cara but it's fun to see her knocked off balance a bit by Kahlan and that's what I really enjoyed about these two passages:

"All right," Kahlan said, setting the sword aside and rising to her feet. Her agreement was more out of curiosity than anything else; she wanted to see if Cara would back up her words with something more substantial. It was a rare person who would come on to a confessor in earnest, and Cara had a lot more to lose than just her free will ( ... )

Just got to this one and as usual you never fail - your muse & deadlines are one deadly, yet productive, combination :D

I love seeing Cara in charge & unflappable but I love seeing her thrown by the unexpected - especially when its Kahlan doing it..lol

I haven't finished reading all your contributions - YET - but have loved all of them thus far. I'm just sorry the pornbattle has finished :(

Thank you! Lol...I certainly don't expect everyone to read and comment as quickly as I've been writing them...my muse has been a monster the past week:P

I'm very glad you enjoyed it. I just really love the idea of Kahlan throwing Cara off balance - cause you know she's probably one of the only people in the world who could do it ;)

The porn battle may be over...but I'm certainly not going to stop writing, so there should be plenty to keep you occupied until the Kink Meme rolls around :D
