Tuesday 17th December:
There had been rumbles of an early morning run but by the time I emerged from my slumber there was just time for a light breakfast before P drove me to Inverkeithing.
A quiet journey. Had just time to catch up on diary and emails. BW had a request for a little bit of additional work to the CEO report. Not sure when I'm supposed to fit this in since the agenda for the rest of the week seems to be filling up with Andy hatching crazy adventure plans etc.
Mum and Craig were waiting for me on the platform at Montrose. Both in good spirits although it didn't take long before C started complaining about the government. I made a joke about Rachel Thieves in an effort at de-escalation. I was going to point out that she looks and sounds exactly like Holly from Red Dwarf but I don't think he would have got the reference.
It was grey but not quite raining in Gourdon and I very much enjoyed and appreciated my welcoming gin. Kedgeree for lunch then Mum and I watched Have I Got News For You until Andy and Oscar arrived. Oscar has just landed a part in the next Ury Players production. Pleased for him.
After tea I went down the road to join them for more telly. Beatles at the Beeb, Hitler the Junkie, and an excellent documentary about 2000AD. Zarjaz! Bed by midnight.
