I fail hardcore at posting logs. XD You're gonna see a bunch in the next few days. >>

Who: Jack thedashinghero and Ianto notjustateaboy
When: Quite a few months ago. Seriously, the First was still around.
Where: The Hub
What: Jack brooding, Ianto making things a bit better with himself, them considering getting a cat.
Why: JANTO! NC17

Jack was sitting at his desk, looking through his old pictures again. The incident with the First had made him a mixture of broody and nostalgic, though he thought he'd managed to cover it up nicely. He was worried about Ianto, though, no thanks to Tosh, and he reminded himself to ask him about it when they next got a moment alone.

There was a patient knock on the door before Ianto walked in a tray in his hands holding mugs of coffee and a plate of biscuits. "Jack?" he called, the soft welsh vowels lilting through the room.

Speak of the sexy devil. "Ianto," Jack replied with a genuine smile, placing the pictures back in the box and setting it aside. "I was just thinking about you." Not that that was anything new; he was usually thinking about Ianto. But still.

Ianto's smile widened a little and he set the tray on Jack's desk, handing him the mug. "Nice thoughts I hope,” he murmured with a smile, his eyes flicking over to him.

"Always," Jack reassured him, taking a sip of the drink and savoring the taste. His boyfriend really was the god of coffee. After setting the mug down and reaching over to pluck a biscuit from the tray, he gave Ianto a concerned look.

"Actually, I've been meaning to ask...how are you holding up with this First thing? Honestly? I know it must have been rough seeing Lisa again, even though it wasn't really her."

His smile faded and he sighed sitting on the edge of the desk looking down. "That's...It wore her face and I couldn't stand it."

Jack echoed Ianto's sigh, reaching out a hand and lacing his fingers with Ianto's. "I know. It tries to get us with what we love most...which makes me even more glad you haven't died yet, because that thing with your face would unravel me in seconds," he admitted.

Ianto looked at their hands, his fingers tightening a little. "Well it’s not the first time it's happened," he replied, before lifting his head to look at him. "Really?"

"Really," Jack admitted, in an uncharacteristic kind of awkwardness. Meaningful confessions of love were rare for him, but spending 2000 years thinking about how much he missed Ianto had made him realize a few things that scared him shitless.

Ianto carded his fingers through Jack's hair with his free hand before leaning in kissing him gently. "Thank You.," he murmured against his lips.

Jack returned the kiss, slow and deep, after murmuring a quiet "You're welcome," in reply. "I missed this," he added, tracing his fingers softly down the side of Ianto's face. "Us."

Ianto smiled leaning into the touch, "You were frozen for a long time." He murmured gently. "I missed you when you left with the doctor of yours."

: Jack chuckled. "I was buried alive under 20 feet of dirt longer than I was frozen, technically. I have to shower at least three times a day to feel clean." It came out jokingly, but it was true. "That's good to hear. I missed you too. That's why I came back, but you already knew that."

He smiled and nodded, "You did," he whispered cupping his jaw. "Will I ever find out what you did during that time?"

"Maybe someday. I've got to have some secrets left, otherwise that mysterious air of mystery Owen was going on about will disappear completely, and I'll just have to rely on my charming personality and ridiculously good looks," Jack replied with a wink.

Ianto chuckled softly, I think you'll manage even with just that," he replied, amused, pressing a kiss on his jaw.

"Oh I'll manage, there's no question there. But you know it wouldn't be the same if you knew every little thing about me," Jack pointed out, before tugging Ianto to snuggle in the chair with him. "Much better," he said with a grin.

Ianto laughed falling onto his lap burying his face in his neck "True. You just like being mysterious in that coat of yours."

"Yes I do," Jack agreed, shifting so they could both be more comfortable. "Of course, I also enjoy being mysterious without the coat," he added, smirking a bit.

Ianto smiled, "I might like that too," he whispered his fingers playing with Jack's red braces.

"'Might'? Would you prefer me in the coat?" Jack teased, remembering his boyfriend's initial fascination with it quite clearly. I really like that coat! What an Ianto-esque pick-up line.

Ianto laughed, "What, just the coat?" he whispered with a grin, pushing the braces off his shoulders.

"Just the coat." Jack laced his own fingers around Ianto's tie, loosening it significantly before pulling him into another kiss with it. "Have I mentioned how much I like your suits?" Especially the ones that involved pink shirts, those were Jack's favorite.

"That might clash with the Unit cap Jack." He whispered against his mouth his fingers unbuttoning his shirt.

"It might, but somehow I doubt the fact will register at the time," Jack replied, his own fingers busy removing Ianto's suit jacket as he pressed kisses along his neck. The only thing better than Ianto's coffee, which was laying forgotten and probably cold on the table, was Ianto, so Jack was quite happy with this development.

Ianto arched his neck helping him take off his jacket his own hands sliding under Jack's vest pulling it off before he stilled suddenly, "The door," he replied, jumping off his lap.

Jack laughed, shaking his head. "Still worried about the door even though everyone's gone home already?" he asked a teasing note in his voice again. "It's just you and me here, Ianto. ...And Myfanwy. And our lovely computer ghost. Who can probably see through the monitor." He glanced at his computer, which was still on. "I hope you're enjoying the show, Tosh!"

"Well after Gwen walked in on us I'm not taking any chances," he replied, locking the door before running over and switching off the monitor, "Better," he replied with a nod as he walked back.

Jack chuckled again. "One of these days I should get an apartment or something. Just for a change of pace."

"Yes, I suppose we could always go to mine when we're out," he replied, sitting back on his lap, his hands sliding up over his chest.

"I would like that," Jack murmured, appreciating the feeling of Ianto's hands on his skin. He would take them over dirt any day. He removed Ianto's shirt and dropped it off to the side, thinking it quite unfair that more of Ianto's skin wasn't exposed. "Though be careful, once you invite me in, you might not be able to get rid of me," he warned him, partially teasing and partially serious. Living alone in the Hub was lonelier than he liked to admit.

Ianto laughed, "I wouldn't mind that," he whispered, pulling Jack's lower lip into his mouth shifting on his lap and he pulled on the older man's belt.

Jack grinned like a kid who'd just been given the coolest Christmas present ever, before his eyes slid shut and he focused on kissing Ianto, putting his many years of experience into use. His fingers traced along his boyfriend's skin like he was memorizing it, before slipping down to remove his belt as well.

Ianto grinned in reply before sighing as he was kissed his tongue enticing Jack's into his mouth kissing him deeply, his hands slid over slick skin and muscle moved down to unbutton his slacks.

Jack explored Ianto's mouth and lips expertly with his tongue, shifting closer to Ianto before he froze, the First's words coming back to haunt him. I think you mean "whores", and you're the biggest one of them all. How do you live with yourself?

Ianto stopped as Jack froze and pulled back a little stroking his jaw, "Jack?"

"Sorry," Jack replied, giving himself a mental shake. That thing was wrong about him...he wasn't like that. "It's nothing."

Ianto watched him stroking the back of his neck. "Jack..."

“Just listening to ghosts when I shouldn't," Jack murmured, offering Ianto a hesitant smile.

Ianto stroked the corner of Jack's mouth with his thumb, watching him quietly before nodding. "I know you're not supposed to let it but sometimes what it said got through didn't it?"

"Most of the time," Jack admitted, glancing down a bit. He hated being such an easy target for a thing he couldn't shoot to death.

Ianto sighed softly and kissed the top of his head. "What did he say that upset you?"

Jack shifted awkwardly, unable to look at Ianto properly. "It called me a whore," he admitted after a few long moments of silence.

Ianto lifted up his head, "And that upset you? I thought you thought our categories to be quaint and old fashioned."

Jack laughed, nodding. "For the most part, I do. But just the way it said it...I'm not like that. I care about people. I care about you. I spent the last 2,000 years missing you."

"I know that Jack. You know I don’t think of you as anything like that."

"I know. I just...needed to hear it, I think," Jack replied, smiling again.

Ianto smiled, "Alright, I know you care about me," he whispered with a smile.

Jack grinned, pressing another kiss to Ianto's lips again. "Good. Now where were we? I think I need a reminder," he teased.

Ianto laughed against his lips, deepening it, his hands sliding back into his brown hair, his eyes closing blissfully.

Jack continued the deep kiss, his own eyes closing again as his hand cupped the side of Ianto's face, before traveling down his neck and chest. He had the feeling that they weren't going to get much in the way of sleep tonight. Not that he minded, really...his boyfriend WAS, after all, the god of coffee.

Ianto groaned softly his hands sliding down his arms before he lifted up a bit helping him remove his slacks. He smiled into the kiss, moving off his lips and onto his throat, "Did you want to finish your coffee first?"

"It's probably cold by now," Jack pointed out, making a satisfied sound at the attention to his throat and undoing Ianto's pants. "Unless you want to heat it up for me, but then you'd have to parade around the Hub shirtless."

Ianto chuckled, "You'd enjoy that FAR too much," he replied, teasing.

"Oh you know I would. But I'd enjoy you parading around completely in the nude even more," Jack pointed out, appreciating said nudeness with a fond grope. "Personally, I think we should adopt the birthday suit as a team uniform."

Ianto chuckled, "I am not greeting people in the shop as a nudist." He whispered. "Besides where would we keep our guns?"

"I could think of a few places," Jack replied, winking at Ianto. He kissed him again before getting up and slipping on his coat. "So, what d'you think?" he asked, striking a pose.

Ianto laugh and pulled him back to him again by his coat back against his mouth "It’s good for this at least." He whispered into his mouth with a groan pressing up against him.

Jack moaned into the kiss, slipping his arms around Ianto as he pressed back, rolling his hips against Ianto's and shivering at the combination friction and heat. He would never get tired of this. "Note to self, include coat more often."

Ianto groaned running his leg against Jack's hip bucking against him as he shifted onto he desk

"You know, I have got an actual bed here," Jack murmured into Ianto's ear as he stroked his leg. "Granted, it's in a hole in the floor, but never let it be said that I mind having you in my hole," he added, his voice dripping with innuendo.

Ianto flushed and laughed softly. "Alright." He whispered. I'd just have to tidy up afterwards up here anyway." He whispered jumping off the desk.

Jack followed Ianto into his room, closing the hatch above them and rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. He'd never shown anyone where he slept at the Hub before. "It's not much, I'll admit, but there's not much you can do with a hole in the ground."

"I have been down here before Jack, who do you think cleans it and gets your clothes from here every morning." He murmured "I told you no one knows this place better than me." He whispered pulling him closer "And it's perfect."

Jack shook his head. "I liked to think the magic cleaning fairy did it," he replied, blushing just a bit. Knowing Ianto had seen it before was different from actually showing him in person. "You probably thought it was a dump the first time you walked in."

Ianto shook his head, "No, no more than the dried egg on your collar."

Jack grinned, slipping his arms around Ianto again in a tight hug. "I'd be a mess if it wasn't for you." Both literally and figuratively.

Ianto smiled, "You know sleeping with the staff is the oldest story in the world." He whispered kissing him.

Jack smirked into the kiss. "Rather fitting for the oldest person in the world then, don't you think?" he pointed out.

"Possibly, this makes you a lecherous old man doesn't it?" He whispered sitting down on the bed pulling him down with him.

"And a cradle-robber," Jack replied, grinning again as he sat down with Ianto. "Even compared to the Doctor, now there's a depressing thought," he added, making a face. As much as he liked parading the fact that he was older than him, there were some definite downsides.

Ianto smiled, "I don't mind." He whispered lifting Jack's chin quietly as he leaned in for a kiss.

Jack kissed him back softly, closing his eyes again. "You will. When you get older, and I don't change...you'll mind. Always happens." That was why most of his past partnerships had ever lasted more than a few years...because he hadn't been able to age with them.

Ianto looked at him, "Jack...I might not even live that long," he whispered.

"Don't say that," Jack replied fiercely. "I'm not going to let that happen. You're going to live a nice ripe age of 100-and-something, no Risen Mittens involved. I'm not going to let you die, not like..." Like Tosh. Owen. Suzie. Everyone else you failed.

Ianto brought Jack's focus back on him kissing him again. "I know you won't." He whispered softly. "And I won't resent your age."

"You can't promise that," Jack murmured against his lips. "But I am going to protect you, no matter what."

Ianto nodded lying back and pulling Jack down not breaking the kiss.

Jack lost himself in the kiss, continuing it for as long as he could without stopping for air.

Ianto sighed groaning into it his hands running over Jack's back.

Jack arched into Ianto's touch, kissing down his neck again as his hand trailed slowly southward, before murmuring into his ear, "I love you, Ianto Jones."

Ianto closed his eyes turning his head, arching his neck as he legs parted. "I love you too.”

Jack smiled, reaching under the bed and grabbing what he liked to call the "essential ingredients". He prepared them both, taking his own sweet time while giving Ianto as much attention as humanly possible.

Ianto smiled, his body humming in pleasure. He moved his hands up over Jack's shoulders and around to the nape of his neck pulling him down for long languid kisses as they were prepared.

Jack chuckled, his voice now low and deep as he held Ianto, sliding slowly into him. "I think you might just have the most gorgeous smile in this room, and that's saying something."

Ianto laughed his smile widening before gasping as he was entered. His hands grasping the bedclothes whilst he arched.

"Shh, I've got you," Jack murmured, stroking the side of Ianto's face gently, giving him a few moments to get used to him again before he started to move.

He nodded his hands grasping at Jack's arms wrapping his legs around him lightly s he pushed back watching him quietly before leaning in for a kiss his face flushed.

Jack happily returned the kiss, using a free hand to reach down between them and stroke Ianto in time with their rhythmic movements.

Ianto arched and writhed, his voice coming out in soft groans and whispers. He groaned pushing back against him, kissing him deeply his hips moving in time.

Jack increased his rhythm, both with his hand and his hips, returning Ianto's deep kisses with deeper ones, sucking gently on his tongue until he had to break for air again.

Ianto groaned whispering his name his hips moving against him the pressure building up low in his belly. He whimpered crying out as he clawed at his back.

Jack struggled not to lose himself in the tight heat that was Ianto, thinking it was a good thing he healed quickly as Ianto's nails dug into his skin. He moaned low in his throat, giving a few more deep thrusts. "Let yourself go, Ianto," he whispered.

Ianto whimpered tightening around him before crying out throwing his head back as he shuddered releasing passionately.

Jack held Ianto through his release, murmuring words of love and admiration in his ear. He followed soon after, arching and releasing into Ianto with a soft cry of his name.

Ianto shuddered his hands running over Jack's back soothingly as the other man arched.

Jack nuzzled against Ianto when he was spent, kissing his skin. "Mmn...amazing, as always."

Ianto smiled shifting so Jack could slip out before curling up beside him. He smiled softly. "Why thank you." He whispered amused closing his eyes.

Jack grinned, nibbling on Ianto's ear after sliding out. "You're not sleepy, are you?" he asked with a frown, prodding him. "No sleeping yet."

:He smiled, "I'm not sleeping. " He replied before opening his eyes and turning his head to face him.

"Good." Jack nodded and observed him, quietly memorizing every little detail of his face.

The twenty five year old watched him quietly running his thumb over the corner of Jack's mouth "What is it?"

Jack smiled against Ianto's thumb. "You start to forget the little things over two thousand years. I'm just reacquainting myself."

"Oh..." He whispered with a smile. "That's alright." He murmured. "What did you think about whilst you were down there?."

Jack glanced away, his gaze distant and old. "There wasn't much time for thinking," he admitted. "I was under 20 feet of dirt...so every time I came back, I just suffocated and died again. But in the moments when I was given the relief of death I thought about you. Owen, Tosh, Gwen, Rose, the Doctor, and even Jack, too...but mostly you. And then I had to wait a hundred years to see you again after they pulled me out."

"Did you feel the time pass?"

"I just knew it was a long time based on how many times I died...it's hard to count the days in a situation like that," Jack replied with a wry grin.

"I meant when you were frozen."

"Ah." Jack thought about it for a moment, and shook his head. "It was more like just going to sleep...I woke up and it was like no time had passed at all." He paused a bit, before laughing. "It's going to be impossible if I ever want to calculate my age."
Jack kissed him back, slowly and deeply. "I can't seem to stop being a downer lately, can I?" he chuckled. "I'll get over it soon, promise."

Ianto smiled, "It's alright, you've had a rough time of it lately." He whispered burying his face into his neck tightening his arms around him.

"You're not wrong," Jack sighed, nuzzling him softly. "But I know you all have too."

Ianto smiled sadly arching his neck. "We still have each other."

"And that's not going to change, as long as I can help it," Jack reassured him.

Ianto smiled softly closing his eyes curling up with him on the bed his fingers tangled loosely in Jack's hair with a soft sigh as he burrowed in under the covers.

Jack chuckled, playing a little game of footsie with Ianto under the sheets. "It's like I have my very own cat," he teased, petting him.

Ianto chuckled his foot running up Jack's calf "I could just get you a cat but Myfanwy might try to eat him." He whispered tilting his head up his eyes opening.

Jack blinked. "You know, I've never actually had a pet before, Myfanwy not included. It could be fun. But I'd hate to put it in danger by living here."

He chuckled, "And it would get into the electronics." He murmured, "You can't have that." He replied leaning in to kiss him.

"Mmn, I suppose not," Jack sighed, kissing him back. "You know, you could always get a cat, and I could visit," he suggested thoughtfully.

Ianto chuckled stroking his hand down Jack's side "I could." He whispered. "They are quite clean animals."

"You, me, and the cat, we'd make a nice little fa-..." No. Bad Jack. Very bad Jack, he scolded himself. "Bunch. Though I think we would have to bring it to the Hub at least once, just to see what it thought of the pterodactyl," he joked.

Ianto raised a brow and smiled kissing the corner of his mouth, "So long as I'm not cleaning out fur for the next two weeks."

"Mmn, we could get one of those short-haired ones, I wouldn't mind," Jack murmured, holding Ianto a little tighter and being grateful for the fact that he hadn't mentioned his slip-up. "Are you sure you're not tired?"

"Tired for a cat?" He asked cuddling him.

"No, in general," Jack replied, petting him again. "I don't want to keep you up with my yammering if you'd rather sleep."

Ianto smiled softly nuzzling him with a sigh, his face buried in his neck in the small bed "I don't mind, I like listening to you talk. "He murmured suppressing a yawn.

Jack laughed. "My voice is amazing, isn't it? I could probably be a star if I wanted to be," he boasted with a grin.

Ianto chuckled, softly tightening his hold on him. "Maybe." He smiled amused

"Definitely," Jack countered, tracing light patterns on Ianto's soft skin again as he hummed one of his favorite 40's tunes.

Ianto sighed softly his breathing evening out as he slipped to sleep to the gentle timbre of Jack's voice.

Jack smiled, kissing Ianto's forehead. "Not sleepy my ass," he chuckled, holding him close as he watched him while he slept.

log, janto
