Hawke eyes the window with consideration. There's a trellis just outside. It wouldn't be at all hard to sneak out, and then from there she could climb the brickwork to get to the roof, and then she could jump over to the Prestick's estate and shimmy down their wall, and then it'd only be a few minutes run to the Hanged Man where she could get nicely drunk instead of...
She growls, looking down. She can't sneak anywhere in this damn dress. Or the shoes. She hates the shoes more. And she did promise Leandra, and it would cause rather a scandal if she escaped from her own birthday party. Not that she cares about causing a scandal. She does care about breaking a promise, even if it was made under duress. At least her mother was happy to let her invite everyone she wanted, in addition to the noble's sons she's intending to introduce Hawke to. Leandra's comments about wanting grandchildren someday have been getting very pointed. Hawke's pretty sure Leandra would be happy to see her daughter paired off with anyone so long as grandchildren happen. Ideally sooner rather than later.
Promise or no promise, that window is looking very tempting.
