orange_midnight I use photoshop cs and I don't know if this is translatable. sorry.
I started with the screencap
here and cropped it to this
- duplicate the layer three times.
- set the top to soft light at 100%. set the other two to screen at 100%. leave the base alone.
- new layer filled with #0B3B57 set to soft light 100%.
- new layer filled with #EEF1BF set to soft light at 50%.
- new layer filled with #996699 set to soft light at 100%.
- new layer filled with #F4B64B set to color burn at 35%.
- then I took this texture
by ewanism, flipped it horizontal and set it to soft light at 100%.
- and you end up with:

this you can also add #F1BFDA between steps 3 and 4. set to softlight at 100%. this method (minus the texture) was used on these:
don't follow this tutorial exactly. I highly suggest playing around with the opacity of the layers. it really all depends on your base. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I won't bite, promise.
