Despite all the critisisms I've been getting, I got some positive feedback from the ship's commanding officer. Apparently, I'm a good public speaker. I guess one of the few useful things I learned in college was how to give presentations to my classmates. The other being how to hold my liquor. Hopefully not both at the same time.
As far as actually performing my job, I'm still working on that. But hey, you've got to count the minor victories too.
