The weekend estimates are up at Box Office Mojo...

Less than four million dollars? And the lowest per screen average of any film which came out this week?

Let's all hope that Walden Media sells the story rights quick!

That's why you need multiple copies. :3 Every time I go past an op shop or something I stop in to check for a few series; I buy copies of TDiR books if they have them, but that seems pretty rare these days. Last time I found one was a copy of "The Grey King" ages ago. I don't read the separate copies though, I have my lovely battered five-books-in-one edition for that :D

I've got two of those. One softcover and battered, one a hardcover that I got through a sci-fi book club a few years ago.

Ooh, is your softcover the purple one? That's the one I have. At the end of my work experience week in year 10, my supervisor took me down to the bookshop and let me pick out a book, and that was the one I chose. I thought it was rather a bargain at AU$25, too. :3

Mine's actually got a black cover with a cool design of stuff in the center. I think I got it in the UK.

My bookclub edition has horrible pictures of the kids on the cover. Jane's just got way to prominent a rack for OSUS, Bran looks more blond--the hair on his legs really stands out against his totally reddish tan looking skin and Will's got these big eyes that make him look like he's having some sort of siezure or something.

I heard somewhere that there's an omnibus edition due out. Mine are still in good condition, but I'd be sorely tempted by a big volume (if I'm not making it up).
