Maya had just gotten home from school and had just entered her room when her cellphone beeped with its text message alert tone (the alert tone being, actually, Suzumiya Haruhi declaring "Heads will roll!").

Curious, she picked up her phone from her dresser, and read the message in it.

"Uwaaa, don't tell me I wasn't supposed to leave Oniichan~ noes, but he told me he'd have kendo practice--!" She stopped her self-rambling when she saw who it was from.

"Oh!" A smile lit up her face. "Makio-kun!" And... she was supposed to meet him in the lobby?

Maya put her school bag down her bed immediately, and put on her shoes again. After making sure her ribbons and pigtails were fixed, she proceeded to head down to the first floor foyer.

The moment she saw Makio, she waved at him cheerfully.

Awww, she was so cute! Makio couldn't help but smile while blushing as soon as he saw Maya cheerfully waving at him.
"Thank you for coming..!" he said "I wanted to give you something, you know?!"
Smiling, he took two things out from his school bag (he still had it with him, of course), and gave them to Maya.
They were the Nozi Ito artbook and the Haruhi keychain he brought for her on his trip to Tokyo: he still couldn't find the courage to gave her the undies.

Maya couldn't comprehend the overwhelming feeling that came upon her when she saw what Makio was holding out.

"A-ah!" Her eyes bounced with delight, and she squealed. "Aiyyya~! Makio-kun, you really got me something from Tokyo, and it's--it's--it's!" She looked like she was ready to glomp him. "Uwaaa, Haruhi!" Maya thought that her voice and squealing really didn't justify how happy she was feeling at the moment. "YAY!"

"Uwaaa, Makio-kun, thank you!" Unable to contain the glee any longer, she suddenly jumped at him and hugged him.

He was so happy to see Maya liked the gifts he brought so much, and when the girl suddenly hugged him, he was about to cry.
"OOh, Maya-chan..! Your smile is the cutest thing in the whole world..!" was the only thing he could thing of.
Trying to look cool instead, he tried his best to smile (but his eyes were really teary, he was THAT happy), and patted Maya's head.

"Eheheh, I knew you were going to love it!"

Now, all he had to do was finding the courage to give her those underwear... and successfully eliminate Kagami from her life! At least, a little bit.
