(
It just occurred to him that this is what people called a 'date'. )
Asuka trotted up to the taller boy's side, bowing slightly. People staring, what? That was a concept she didn't quite understand yet, having a bad habit of staring at strangers, herself.
"There was a painting of a ra-- .. N- nevermind."
Yes. There was a painting of a rabbit in the hallway. It'd stolen her attention for at least five minutes before she made her way outside.

"It's alright, I was doing some...talking," Sou couldn't help but glare overhead at the two girls oogling at him and Asuka. This was getting annoying. "And what painting?"
Reply
"N- nothing. A foolish piece of art by a foolish student of foolish subject matter."
Asuka, having just sped up a bit to match Sou's pace, half-whispered;
"I- it was a rabbit."
Reply
...well. She did look like someone who likes rabbits.
Reply
"M- make nothing of it!! Yes, a rabbit!"

She sped up a bit, obviously blushing. With her arms crossed, she looked like a bratty little girl.
Admittedly, maybe it was kind of cute.

Asuka looked away, flustered. Cue a confused passer-by taking note of her unusually reddened face.

Alright, only his sister and Momo uses that word. But it was kinda hard when you don't want to give someone the wrong idea.

She was not accustomed to recieving compliments.
"F- foolishness! I am not cute, and that is final."

Either way, they were already at the steps at the station, and Sou was already fishing out for change to get the ticket. He looked to Asuka, wondering if she had any money on her. "I'll pay for you too, if you want."
Reply
"Unnecessary."

"I'll buy the food you want then, alright? My treat," He said, inserting the designated coins and grabbing the ticket. He passed through the metal stopper, pausing to put the ticket through and grabbing it, before waving Asuka to come over.
"Iwatodai Train stopping in four minutes, Iwatodai Train stopping in four..."
Oh man, he hope they won't stay here till the next train either.

A representative of social services had assisted her on her trip from the mountain into Iwatodai, and she didn't quite recall a device like that anyway.
Her fear of the mechanical menace was, sadly, obvious.
