Holy BALLS, my life has been eaten. I barely have time to think anymore. Right now, I'm a-workin' away on a position paper for Nightwood, which is rapidly becoming one of my favorite books EVAR. The paper would be done already, except I spent five days straight on a seven-page, 1244-word poem. Oh yeah, and this morning, I watched the first five episodes of Merlin Series 3 (at long last). Oh, Uther, you fail so hard. I think my favourite so far is either the one with Gwaine (why that spelling, I wonder?) because it was the gayest thing ever, or maybe the goblin one, because Richard Wilson looked like he was having sooooo much fun being batshit crazy. Or maybe the first two, because I did a running commentary to lighten up all the srs bznz, or maybe all of them because ARGH MORGAUSE IS SO EFFIN HAWT. OMG, women in armour turn me on. I was disappointed that they only showed Morgana in trousers, like, once. *fap fap fap*
I just found mycroftpoppins. I am fully convinced that he will rise to the infamy of Unexpected Naked Jack and Terrifying Pertwee. I am also trying to push the fact that I haven't written any Sherlock fic out of my head at least until January. All I have planned so far is a new version of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. I wrote a Torchwood version of that in 2007 I think, but it got lost in the Great Hard Drive Crash. While I luckily had a printed-out copy, I've never re-typed it. I may even make the Sherlock one (illustrated with my crap art skillz - that should be quite an experiment; maybe something mixed-media) available as an ACTUAL BOOK WHAT YOU CAN BUY AND PLAY FLIPPY-FLIP WITH THE ACTUAL TANGIBLE FUCKING PAGES. *squee*
Oh, and I'm looking into making my own badges. I've always wanted to, but never got around to finding a badge pressing machine or whatever they call them. IT WILL HAPPEN, AND IT WILL BE GLORIOUS.
UGH, looks like I'm skipping out on Workshop today. :( (I don't actually want to go, I just feel bad about it. Luckily, I believe that this is my first unexcused absence of the semester. AND I HAVE AN EXCUSE, GOD DAMMIT). Nooooo, stop eating your banana nut muffin prematurely! You'll have nothing to nibble on during your paper presentation later!!!
This is my favourite Sherlock fanvid right now. I have only a couple others that I like, which is odd. You'd think I'd have a whole bunch by now, but I haven't found many that I really enjoyed. As you all know, I prefer humourous fanvids - can any of you Sherlockians recommend any vids which might tickle my fancy? Cheers!
