Harry sat down on his bed after sending the message. There was one last thing to do. He picked up Sirius' mirror and cleaned it absent-mindedly with his sleeve. Then he took a deep breath and called through it. "Ginny?"

Ginny had been sitting on her bed, reading through one of Ron's old NEWT books for lack of other things to do. The mirror had a place on her nightstand, the same place it had been in since Harry had given it to her. When she heard his voice from it, however, she looked up in suprise. She reached over and picked it up. "Harry?" she asked, holding it in front of her face and looking through at his. "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah," he said, relieved to see her face. "Just... wanted to see you."

"Are you coming here? Or just through these?" she asked, then suddenly felt selfish. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," he lied. "And you know I can't. I just wanted to hear your voice, that's all."

[redheadedxx]

"I miss you," she said, letting her finger run over the outline of his face on the glass.

[boysaviorharry]

"I miss you too," he said, "all the time. It won't be long, though."

[redheadedxx]

"It won't?" she asked, confusion dotting her features, though she felt a soft smile come onto them as well as he talked about his missing her.

"No," he said. "I'm... we're... we're going to fight, tomorrow."

The smile fell from her face immediately, and she had to look away for a second. When she looked back, the worry was evident. "Already?" she asked softly.

"Yeah," he said. "But it's good - I mean, it's better than all this waiting around."

[redheadedxx]

"Yeah," she said, her voice both worried and a little bitter. "Just wonderful."
The thoughts that were swimming through her mind were obvious just from her tone. It was clear that she hated the idea that it was finally coming to a head. Harry or him.

"You okay?"

Ginny felt her bottom lip quiver slightly. She wanted to tell him she was, that it was fine and she was alright with it, but she wasn't. It was too scary, that she might not see him again. And that she wouldn't be there...
She gave her head a small shake.

[boysaviorharry]

"Yeah, that's what I thought. Look, you knew this was coming..."

[redheadedxx]

"But its never been this close before," she said softly. "You can't expect me to be completely alright with any of this."

"I guess not. You could pretend, though."
