Hermione stood at the precipice, the door to the Room of Requirement, with a solemn look on her face. She hadn't eaten much at dinner, wanting to get to Ginny as quickly as possible. Dumbledore had approved their use of a Memory Retrieval spell, but for once Hermione was unsure of her own abilities.
Pushing open the door, she crossed to her friend. "You weren't at dinner," she observed, adding, "Ron's on his way."
"Neither was I, but that doesn't mean you should hole yourself up in here like this." Hermione sighed; Ron had been right about Ginny's isolationist attitude.
"Did Ron explain to you how this is going to work?"
Hermione coughed softly into her hand before looking over at them with a small smile. "We don't have to watch them now, if you would rather get some rest."
