It's so unfair, I go to sleep for ten minutes and I miss everything...boysaviorharryNovember 6 2006, 00:13:42 UTC
"Ginny!" Harry yelled as he ran up the stairs behind her. "Gin, wait!" He reached the door to the Room of Requirement and wasn't suprised to find it visible. When he tried the handle, however, the room didn't seem to want to let him in. He could only assume this was due to some subconcious feeling on Ginny's part. "Ginny!" he called again, hammering on the door. "Let me in!"
Ginny told the room that she wanted Harry and buried her face back into the arm of the chair, covering the word on her head. She didn't want anyone to see it, not even Harry.
Harry wasn't quite prepared for the door to burst open all at once, and he tripped rather spectacularly over the frame as a result. He swore rather heavily at it, and slammed the door.
He saw Ginny curled up in a chair, sobbing, and felt his already spiked anger hormones kick up another few notches. He wanted to grab Bulstrode and Malfoy and knock their heads together... and then do something a bit more permenant, perhaps.
He walked over to her, unsure of what to do or say. He had failed. He had promised to protect her, he had told her that nothing would happen. Nice work, hero-boy. "Ginny?"
Ginny couldn't look at him, the shame evident in her body language, curling tighter into a ball. She only felt the shame of the word on her head, knowing that when Harry first found out about everything, thats exactly what he had thought.
