"How can we have a proper relationship if you don't trust me?" Hermione asked, raising her head to look at Ron. "I'm not about to leave you for some boy just because he happens to look at me, Ron. I'm not going to leave you for anyone. When will you get that you are the only one I have ever wanted, and that's not about to change any time soon?"

Ron frowned, he knew all of this, but still couldn't grasp it somehow.

"I know, love," he replied, reaching out to brush her tears from her cheeks. "It's not that I don't trust you...it's that I don't trust all the other gits around here."

"I don't see how they matter," Hermione said defeatedly. "It doesn't matter whether they're trustworthy or not since it's me who makes the decision on who I chose to date. And I chose you. A thousand times over I've chosen you."
