Mandy smiled to herself as she navigated her broom out the back door. Her mother hated it when she Apparated indoors, mostly because the sound scared the bejeezus out of Gavin. Since he was actually sleeping, Mandy had decided to make the noise at least a little quieter by moving outside. Not much, but it would have to do.

The Nimbus in her hand seemed to hum a little, but Mandy had to resist the temptation to mount up and fly over to Cho's. That would make her late, and the girl didn't intend to be late twice in a row. Ravenclaws weren't supposed to do that.

In only a moment, she appeared in a side yard, conveniently concealed from Muggles by a few bushes. Mandy moved across the threshold of Cho's house, trying not to openly stare around at the decorations and pictures around. She loved to see such little bits of how people lived, but overt staring, she knew from experience, was just a little bit creepy sometimes.

The girl initially shook her head at Cho's question. "No, I had a snack just before I came over...though actually, a glass of water would be nice."

"Sure thing!" Cho bounded over to the kitchen, assuming Mandy would follow. She took out two water bottles and filled them. Taking out her wand, she pointed it at them and chilled them, so there was a hint of ice in it.

"Thought it would be good to have while we're practicing," she said, holding out one to Mandy.
