drained..literally
i woke up early (11) to get in touch with my internship boss. i negotiated working on 3.5 days during the fall semester so that i can take 2 classes. i'll have thursdays off and half of friday off too. not bad. i'm also going to be able to go home to ny for a week before i start. i'm really excited to go home. probably because my mom bribed me with shoes and jeans.
i went to get the invitations printed. i'm so null at all this cause i have no clue what size paper, what weight, i didn't even remember to bring the list so i just said 150 copies.errr.
afterwards i was going to the marais to maybe see about getting a haircut. i got off at hotel de ville and there was a big tent to donate blood. so i donated blood!
i was sooo tired this morning and i wasn't feeling great so i probably shouldn't have done it. i did get to chat it up with the hot male nurse who was black btw while he took my blood. that needle is huge!! anyway, i got some free lunch out of it!
afterwards i happened to catch leakhena at home. she had 2 friends over whom i've never met. she doens't even remember how they met. anyway, the guy aldo (again another aldo) completely fell in love with me and was like "i want to marry your friend etc" when i was in the bathroom. too bad he's like 35 and nothing to look at. he does import italian clothing so i might get a free wardrobe out of the deal. haha.
then we went to gilbert jaune to look for a book. that place is so damn hot!! do french people not understand the concept of AIRCONDITIONING?! god, they're so behind.
we walked around odeon etc. we like "our side" better. the whole time i was feeling really drained from giving blood and blahhh.
i thought i was going to see the guy from la pena tonight but apparently he's busy or something and suggested tomorrow night. tant pis, cause i'll be in bourgogne. i really do want to see him again just to know if he's worth it. i couldn't tell from just dancing with him and talking to him for like 20 minutes the other night.
laura and allie invited me to favela chic tonight which is down the street. i might go if i can recoop quick enough. i reall feel sick. there is a chance that the guy calls me later but who knows.
