More Stuffs
Another day, another...um...boring day of doing nothing. Oh, I had a test. On Music Theory. I /totally/ analyzed passages of music. I was all like "Wait a second...a diminished two chord in the second inversion?! This can only be the work of my arch-nemesis DOCTOR NEFARIOUS!" By that point I knew I only had a few moments before the E (for evil) Bombs placed within the piano and kid with the ipod went off, destroying the school and the Free World's last chance at peace.
Springing into action, I jumped from my seat and plunged forward, sending desks and test-takers scattering. Using the skill and knowledge inplanted in my positronic brain by W.A.P.O. scientists, I managed to deactive the dastardly devices with a single second to spare. From there, there was only one thing left to do. Soon, Doctor Nefarious and I are locked in a life and death struggle atop the newly constructed Eastvale Dam. The battle raged on for hours, the doctor's cybernetic "improvements" pitched against my world-class Darien Ka Style Fighting Technique, but just as things seemed hopeless my Snakefang Strike hit home, sending Nefarious toppling over the Dam's edge, holding on with a single hand.
The two of us stared each other straight in the eyes for a long moment, my mind torn between my desire to see the world purged of Nefarious's taint for all times and the knowledge that justice could not truely be served through my hunt for revenge. And so, I outstretched my hand to the Doctor, a weight that had load burdened my soul finally lifting. Nefarious stared incredulously at my offered assistance for a moment, and then did something I had not expected. He laughed, releasing his hand to fall down into the churning waters far below, his crazed laughter ringing in my ears long after I knew he had to be dead. And so I turned away, shaking my head, to walk alone into the distance. And as the dam and Nefarious's watery grave shrank in the background, I couldn't help but wonder: Was it over? Or can evil ever truely die?
I just don't know...I just don't know.
Oh. Also I took a nap.
