It's a marvolous night for a moondance

Last nightr was wonderful. Sharon and I met John and Naomis on Waikiki around 7. We then went over to the Bon Dance that happened to be going on, and listened to the Japanese drummers and watched them dancing around a little temple thing. The festival has something to do with the end of the harvest and the crcle of life. Buddhist culture is so interesting and wonderful. They let anyone join in the dance, even if you didn't know it, you could just copy the person next to you. They accepted everyone, even if you didnt speak Japanese and didnt really understand what was going on. There were people dressed up in the full kimono ensemble, which I did last time I was here. It took like half an hour just to get the kimino on, then do up the obi and put up my hair. But it was really nice, kimonos are something that actually look good on me. Then we watched some fireworks over the water. I gave John a killer massage, so he did my feet and ankles, which was wonderful, since I've been dancing all week. Sharon and Naomis got in a long, deep conversation about who-knows-what, so John and I joked around and fooled around and walked around and whatever. Neither of us was in a serious mood, we exchanged things like blonde jokes and dead baby jokes and sunburn stories and cop stories and work stories and ...ok, ok, a few kisses too...

Lol. They walked us to the bus stop around 10 45, and John told us which bus to take to get to King/Beritania stop, and then what time the #1 bus came to take up back to Hawaii Kai. Which was nice of him, he knows the bus route really well, and wanted to make sure we got home safely. How thoughtful.

I saw a rainbow yesterday when we Sharon and I were going to Costco to pick up ice cream. It made me very happy :)

Also, the other day Morgan and Mark gave us a ride downtown so we'd have one less bus ride on our journey back home from the dance studio. mark stopped at Costco and told Morgan to get him a smoothie. So Morgan got out and came back with 4, one for each of us. He's a sweetheart. Too bad he's gay...

I saw another ranbow a few days ago on the bus. And another one. That's three rainbows in like 4 days. Yay!!!

The sunset on the beach was sooo beautiful yesterday. I took lots of pictures.

So Waikiki again today, and some shopping with my aunt. I hope she's not mad at me. I got in last night around 1. Hey, we left the beach before 11. How was I supposed to know that the #1 bus would take and hour and a half?

Oh well, what can you do?

I think I'll give John a call and tell him to be at Waikiki this afternoon. Maybe the four of us can chill again. :) Goodtimes
